Five Way Friday formed in 1997 and spent the next decade on the road across the Southeast and East Coast, releasing three albums and earning a name as one of the region’s favorite live bands.
They shared stages with Vertical Horizon, Edwin McCain, Cowboy Mouth, Blue Dogs, Cravin’ Melon, and Uncle Mingo. Run Like This reached No. 4 on Billboard’s Top Internet Albums, and songs from the record were featured on Dawson’s Creek. The 2003 album Wrecked was produced by Mark Bryan of Hootie & the Blowfish.
Nowadays, you can find the members spread out across South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee with their families. They still play a few shows a year. If you’re interested in booking them, reach out below.
